It’s that time of year again when we start making New Year’s resolutions. Last year, the top three resolutions were exercising more, losing weight and eating more healthily. However, 2020 was a year unlike any other and has made many rethink this annual ritual. The New York Times recently published an article encouraging people to downsize resolutions this year and this article in lifehacker.com says that the only resolutions we should make for 2021 are those that will make our lives less stressful. After a tough year of dealing with a pandemic, lockdowns, environmental disasters and political fractiousness, we’ve put together a list of some low stress, low commitment resolutions that can help you have more peace of mind in 2021 (and made suggestions on how you can kickstart those resolutions with some items from the indie brands we’ve partnered with).
Resolutions for a less stressful 2021
1. Try keeping a journal
Journaling can be an amazing creative outlet. Journaling is the perfect resolution as it’s all about reflection and contemplation. It can help you gain new insight and clarify values and needs.
